Nigerian megastar Davido, formerly with HKN and founder of Davido Music Worldwide (DMW), has joined forces with United Masters to establish a new label, Nine+.
The partnership, announced on April 18, 2024, via United Masters’ Instagram, is hailed as groundbreaking for Africa’s music scene, promising to elevate emerging talents.
Davido expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, highlighting its potential for global impact. This move follows United Masters’ previous partnership with Sarz Academy in 2023.
Nine+ emerges following the rebranding of DMW 2.0, with Davido already signing Morravey and Logos Olori, both featured on his Grammy-nominated album ‘Timeless’.
With recent achievements including headlining a sold-out concert at Madison Square Garden, Davido aims to continue his success as both an artist and label boss, nurturing new talent through Nine+.
